Planning questions

How far ahead should I ask?
Four to eight weeks is comfortable for a multi-city trip; single days can often be arranged within a week. Peak weeks (Chinese New Year, the first week of October) need more notice for trains and hotels.
Do you book trains and flights?
We book the high-speed trains between our cities in your name and add them at cost; flights we advise on and you book directly.
Do you cover cities not on your list?
Within reach of our cities, yes: Pingyao from Xi'an, Dali from Lijiang, Tianjin from Beijing, and others. Further afield we say so honestly rather than subcontract.
